Decking, Insulation and a port-a-potty

We now have two of our three decks on, some insulation and a very important item...a port-a-potty!!! We have one more deck to go that will extend out from the roof line. This should give us a great view of the ocean.

Windows and a roof!!!

Our house is moving right along. We now have windows and a roof!!! It's tough not being there seeing the progress each day so when we get pictures it's just so exciting to see what has been done. We are going to a fishing school in Morehead City this weekend so we are going to take Friday off to visit our new beach house and see what progress has been made this week.

We have studs!!!!

We went this weekend to see how much the builders had done on our house and we were pleasantly surprised to see studs. It's exciting to see it come along so quickly. I'm sure things will slow down once they start work on the sheetrock and all the inside details but it's cool to see some actual walls going up. We'll be traveling back down in two weeks to pick out our tile, flooring and cabinets and some other things. That's when the fun really begins!!!

Twix and Bubbles here. We're all ready for the Super Bowl game Sunday!!! We'll be chilling on the sofa watching the Patriots take over the Giants!!!

Fill Dirt, A Port-A-Potty and a Tonka Tractor

We went to see what was going on with the beach house and we have dirt, a porta-a-potty and a Tonka tractor!!! I guess it's really sand but the builder calls it dirt. Hopefully this week some pilings went up. We're getting excited!!!!
