We're building a beach house!!!

To own a house at the beach has been a dream of ours for as long as we both can remember but we weren't sure it would ever happen. We both love warm weather and the ocean and we can happily say it's finally going to happen. After visiting several different beaches to find out the things we liked and didn't like we finally settled on Oak Island, NC. It's a quaint little island with no large hotels and very few condos which we liked about this beach. Once we decided on an island we went land searching. We found a lot we liked and then we found a corner lot that we liked also. Both were just a short walk to the beach. We contacted the realtor of the corner lot and we went back and forth with the owner on a price. We were sad they wouldn't negotiate very much on the price so we decided to go to the lot that we originally liked. We ended up purchasing it and now we are very happy the way everything turned out.
